2:00am/Polaroids/David Hockney

It's 2:30am...I've been tired all day, and for some reason I cannot get to sleep. So what better thing to do than update my blog site! I've been attempting to explore the world of the original polaroid, but for some reason, the project is just not getting it's feet on the ground. Recently I've acquired my Grandma's polaroid camera which I discovered she had via my brothers scrap book (just leave it at that). I've looked up how much film costs and I was blown away at the $30-$40 dollar per polaroid. Sorry! Poor college student here! So, project polaroid has been abandoned at this point. (not all my interest went to waste, I did make a website in my web class tributed to wonderful polaroid...check it out! http://jenaevanengen.tripod.com/index.html) In my effort to find some inspiration for my not so much polaroid project, I ran across David Hockney, an artist/photographer. His photo montages were awesome, and so I decided since my polaroid project was at a stand still to give his technique a try. Below is my photoshop rendered attempt at David Hockney. Tonight I printed the pictures out individually and glued away. Turned out awesome in print, but this give you an idea of what it looks like. Enjoy!
